Science Made Simple | Odv

Role: Art Direction, Brand Identity, Creative Strategy, Design, Packaging

The wellness space is evolving fast, with the electrolyte category leading the way. Odv set out to push it further by combining hydration with one of the most exciting areas of health science: NAD+. Instead of expensive IV drips, Odv delivers the same benefits through daily sachets designed for modern, on-the-go lives. By pairing electrolytes with cutting-edge ingredients, the formulas are built to support absorption and increase the body’s bio-availability.

What excited me most about the project was the opportunity to take something deeply scientific and turn it into a brand people could feel part of. The challenge was balancing the science with a sense of warmth and humanity. In such a noisy category, the identity also had to stand apart - translating complex science into something intuitive enjoyable, and easy to use.

The identity strikes that balance. A confident wordmark is paired with a custom ‘+’ symbol, a unifying device which is used across packaging, icons and communications. The colour palette is inspired by the refreshing energy of spring and summer - vibrant pops that create a sense of vitality and wellbeing, with each hue representing a different product range. Typography choices were kept clear and legible but also approachable.

Packaging played a central role in elevating the brand. Sleek sachets and cartons transform the supplement into a ritual object and something to be proudly left out on a kitchen counter. Every detail, from how the user would interact with the product, benefit icons and copy hierarchy, was designed to make the science easy to understand and a joy to use.

The system then extended into a flexible content framework, with launch campaign assets and ongoing creative direction all coming back to the idea: smart science, made simple.

Odv launched in September 2025 as a brand rooted in efficacy, elegant, approachable and carving out a distinctive space in a fast-growing category.
